I'm originally from Central California, born and partially raised in Hollister, and Santa Cruz. Our family came to Utah when I was young, so I spent many of my elementary school years here. But then I ended up spending my junior high and high school years back in Hollister, and surrounding areas, like Prunedale. My senior year was spent back here in Utah, at Brighton High. Shortly after graduation is when
I joined the Navy to work on those jets on the aircraft carriers. After serving 5 years in Japan and abroad for the Navy, I came back here and decided to use that GI Bill for photography!
I used to photograph landscapes and wildlife exclusively. But then in my first semester, I discovered a love for the studio and artificial light. Now I’m always looking for new ideas... I love it all! Fashion, Beauty, Glamour, Urban, Cosplay, Portraiture, Product, Still Life, and of course Landscapes and Wildlife.
But my dream job would still be, personal photographer for
311...
I got a
Profile There too!
I'm looking to gain experience, while helping models build their portfolios.
I like to exercise my versatility, by achieving, and possibly improving upon my models artistic vision.
I'm rarely asked for re-edits, because I like to implement most all of my models ideas. But please feel free to ask for a few re-edits if I didn't get it right the first time!
So, needless to say, my models always play a huge part in my creative process.
I'll sometimes do trade work, but would prefer creative people who are interested in a collaborative process.
My equipment includes
Nikon D300, (D100 Backup)SB-800 strobe,
3 Hensel 500 w/s monolights, and
2 Alien Bees for aux lighting...
But that's just the hardware.
Software I use includes:
Photoshop CS3, and Lightroom.
